Disappointed with the way it is still assumed that only education or experience gained in Finland is valid when someone wants to move forward in life. And nothing from earlier is relevant.
There are as many ways to live as there are people. And as many ways and places to gather knowledge and skills. That is, no more narrow and discriminatory ways of assessing people’s value, thank you!
And no to this kind of cancel culture, where people’s skills and experiences are canceled because they deviate from the norms!
Because a society and a city that does not allow space for a diverse group of people to be themselves, not just to survive, but also thrive, is like a vehicle without wheels! Well who now wants to ride that kind of transport?
