There are many parties that focus on important issues such as environment protection, gender equality, non-discrimination, wellbeing for everyone and sustainable development.
The choice was difficult, but I ended up joining the Left Alliance, because we still live in a class society. A society, in which we are unjustly divided into the successful class, and the struggling class, with the latter facing structural challenges.
Only by actively challenging these structures that create inequality, can we build a society that works for everyone!
But isn’t the Left Alliance the party that opposes everything? No, it is the party that opposes inequality and injustice everywhere!
So does this mean the Left Alliance is the perfect party? Definitely not! Leftist politics are never ready. But the core goal is increasing equality, and there is always room for improvement. The Left Alliance for example could integrate feminism, anti-racism and environment protections much more actively in its work.
And it is to contribute to these improvements that I decided to be part of this future oriented red green movement. Because I believe, like the Left Alliance does, that a good life is for everyone, and not just for a few!
You might say this sounds great, but find that a different party is closer to your values. There exist many ways to create a society that works for everyone, and it is great that you have already found a suitable party. Have a great election spring, whichever party you are supporting!
